El PASO, TEXAS – A man holds up a cellular phone store in Central El Paso. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying this man, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.” On the evening of Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 6:45 p.m., the suspect walked into the Metro by T-Mobile store at 125 N. Glenwood St. The man walked directly to the counter and made a threat of having a gun to the two store employees. The man demanded money and forced the employees to a backroom. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses described the suspect to be a Black male, 5’8” in height with a heavy build. The man was wearing a gray hooded jacket, a baseball cap under the hood, and blue denim jeans.
