Teen Tackled By Guards, Punched by Cop Outside North Carolina Hospital

This mother took her son to the ER when she thought he was having a mental health emergency — when they arrived the teen was violently tackled, tased, and handcuffed by security guards (warning: distressing).

In US news and current events today, on December 8, 2019, Jessica Long took her 16-year-old son Hayden to Atrium Health Lincoln in Lincolnton, NC.

Jessica reportedly thought her son was having a mental health emergency. Hayden is reportedly on antidepressant & had taken medication that day, and resisted going into the ER, so his mom asked a security guard to help him inside — that's when things spiraled.

Watch as the security guard tased and shoved the teen, followed by another attack from guards and eventually law enforcement officers as well. The gruesome attack on the teen was all caught on security footage.

Lincoln County Sheriff Bill Beam defended Polson after the incident, saying the teen committed a ‘felonious assault’ on the officer. Beam denied the officer punched the teen, even after he said he watched the surveillance footage.
