South Korea's Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha talked with her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi over the phone on Wednesday.
During the phone call, Kang said, she's concerned about China's "excessive" quarantine measures on South Korean nationals..
A total of 1-hundred-14 South Koreans have been quarantined upon arrival in the Chinese cities of Weihai and Nanjing.
The ministry's view is that China should take into account South Korea's own quarantine capabilities... and the assistance Seoul has sent to China since the start of the outbreak.
However, China's state-run Global Times newspaper released an op-ed,... saying... that the quarantine measures should not be seen as a diplomatic issue... but as a move to prevent the epidemic.
It reported that, China can't afford the situation to get worse.
