How to Install PVC Plumbing | This Old House It’s time for rough plumbing to start on the house. Richard Trethewey takes time to teach the apprentices the basics. They start by building the drain stack for the new master bath.

The three apprentices meet Richard on the first floor to start a basic plumbing lesson of building a drain stack. He shows them the different size pipe fittings. They drill the hole for the pipe at the new master bathroom drain system and then work on assembling the pipe on the first floor. After the pipe is dry fit, they take it apart to clean the fittings and then glue it all back in place.
