We are onboard one of the last cruises for at least 30 days. We departed a week ago on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas from San Juan, Puerto Rico. This was taped live from our cruise following all the announcements made by the major cruise lines regarding the temporary suspension of cruising.

In this video, we provide a summary of the week's events and our experience cruising during the coronavirus epidemic, INCLUDING being denied disembarkation yesterday (Sunday, March 15th) morning in San Juan!

If you enjoy this video, please make sure to give it a BIG THUMBS UP!

We are now headed to Miami, Florida with an expected disembarkation date of Tuesday, March 17th. We hope everyone remains healthy and safe back on land. We know this situation has impacted work, school, and life in general. So, it is important to remain calm, support each other, and hope this passes quickly.

Yes, we still have plans to continue to cruise following the ban. Honestly, we were surprised when the first cruise line, Viking Cruises, suspended all river and ocean cruises until May 1st. Following that announcement on March 11th, other cruise lines began to follow suit, including Princess Cruises, Windstar Cruises, and Virgin Voyages who delayed its inaugural season to July of this year. Later, all CLIA ships from major brands like Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, MSC Cruises, and more voluntarily suspended cruises for the next 30 days.

Of course, we were getting all of these updates via social media while we were actually cruising the Southern Caribbean. So, in this video, we share how this situation unfolded in real time on a cruise.
