Why create junk journals? Would you prefer a greeting card of a lovely journal?

Instead of giving a greeting card to celebrate an occasion why not create a beautiful themed junk journal. Fill it with photos, tickets, funny notes and goodie filled envelopes, lotto tickets etc. I'm sure everyone would prefer to get a junk journal rather than a card that ends up in a drawer or thrown out.
