Hello again! 😊
This time I am mixing colors for drawing #coldskintone. This is more of a demo than a tutorial because I am showing you what the colors look like next to each other and how they make the overall form look. I thought it would be better to show the mixing and mistakes and undos rather than just talking about it. We usually don’t imagine putting blues and greens on the face but the perfect skin tone has a lot of blue and green which balances out the reds and yellows preventing us from looking like lemons and oranges. Painting skin is something we all had difficulties with at one point but with the right technique it doesn't have to be. By knowing some basic color theory you can easily paint good looking skin that pops and looks believable. I have kept the form a little hazy to keep the focus on the colors. Also I am exploring abstract rendering of the faces, hence the hazy form. I hope you'll find this video helpful and relevant!
