Standpoint MN

Standpoint MN Standpoint, formerly known as the Battered Women's Legal Advocacy Project (BWLAP), exists to serve domestic and sexual violence survivors, advocates, attorneys, and other professionals working within the justice system in the state of Minnesota. Since 1996, our organization has established a statewide reputation as a premiere legal resource.

We understand the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence within the legal system. We strive to understand the world from the "standpoint" of marginalized groups to better serve our statewide community of survivors and the support networks surrounding them. Our experienced lawyers and advocates provide support, training, over the phone advocacy, and legal advice: free of charge, regardless of income. Monday through Friday, during our business hours, our staff is available to take your calls and answer your questions.
