'Island nation' an advantage against coronavirus

Sky News host Paul Murray says the people who oppose a two week quarantine period on Christmas island for Australians returning from Wuhan “do not understand the gravity of the situation the world is currently in”.

The World Health Organisation told BBC the world “must take action” against the spread of the coronavirus.

The federal government’s quarantine initiative “is not an overreaction” said Mr Murray and Australia is fortunate as an “island nation” to have thorough border security.
