Twitter's updated terms of service says it will now be able to put limits on content, raising fears the social media platform could apply so-called 'shadow bans': that effectively means suppressing publicly-posted content - without the user's knowledge that their posts aren't visible to followers. It's an accusation Twitter has faced before, but as RT reports, it could become the norm from next year.
