The knicks are smart for avoiding KD and Kyrie I am so tired of listening on how the knicks are stupid. They can never win. I bet if they did sign these guys, then in 3 years everyone would be bashing the knicks for doing so. Saying stupid same old knicks.
KD and Kyrie are a disaster waiting to happen. When Kyrie was younger, he had a much better team around him in Lebron, who is the best player in the world, I mean the superstar level that MJ, Kobe, Shaq, Magic, Bird, Kareem, you get it, that superstar level, you also had kevin love who at the time was a lot better than the DeAndre Jordan that the nets have now. They only won 1 championship together, barely, and then spoiled Kyrie didn’t want to be in Cleveland anymore.
In Boston, they played a million times better, when he was injured. When he came back, the team was a disaster. And i don’t want to hear about that he wasn’t happy in Boston and that is why that happened. Kwai wasn't happy in Toronto and he won the championship!
Not to mention, I’m afraid that Kyrie is so injury prone that his knees will blow out at any moment.
KD is another one. He suffered with the worst injury that you can have at the age of 31. It will take him about 2 years to come back to a normal player and who knows if he’ll ever be the same. My guess is that he isn’t. And not to mention that he is a little drama queen. Dude you’re a millionaire and you have like the best job in the world! Why are you complaining like you’re some troubled white teenager from beverly hills 90210? If he is such a softy now, wait till Brooklyn eats the man alive!
The knicks are in excellent shape. They have amazing salary flexibility! They signed Julius Randle who is extremely underrated and will probably have a career year. I have a feeling that Dennis Smith JR will have a career year! And we have RJ Barrett who has amazing potential.
So in 3 years when the Nets are a joke with 2 has been drama queen stars, the knicks will be the team to beat in the EAST.
