David Davis: There's a 'chance' Brexit won't happen on October 31

David Davis: There's a 'chance' Brexit won't happen on October 31 David Davis, the former Brexit secretary, says "at every turn" people have tried to undermine the PM's negotiating position.

He says Johnson "had no choice" but to send the Brexit delay request, adding there's a "chance" Brexit doesn't happen on 31 October but it's not a "probability".

There would be a down side to no-deal for Britain but it would be terrible for Ireland, Davis adds, saying the EU won't answer the delay request until the end of the month.
