Winter Hot Tent Camping - Two Nights, Extreme Temperature Swings & Epic Meals

With temperatures as low as -28 Celsius swinging up to +5 Celsius, this winter camping adventure posed some serious challenges. Plans were adjusted, lessons were learned and we still had an amazing time. I experimented with some new campfire meals, challenging myself to try more complicated meals at camp and they were a huge success! Of course we played in the woods and deep snow with Shoxy, burned lots of fire wood and enjoyed the cozy comforts of the Big Top hot tent. This was probably our last chance for a proper winter camp as the spring weather is fast approaching and I'm so glad we got out to enjoy it!
