Teenager killed in an attack of four lions in Lahore’s Safari Park
The remains of a teenager who had been missing for two days have been found in the lions’ enclosure at the safari park on Wednesday.
The skull and bones of 18-year-old Muhammad Bilal were found when staff went to take care of the creatures on Wednesday, Chaudhry Shafqat, delegate executive general of Lahore Safari Park, said.
As per police, a youngster distinguished as Bilal drew near to a pride of lions while cutting grass in the safari park areas. The mammoths assaulted him and murdered him on the spot.
Shafqat told the recreation centre had "all that could possibly be needed security gauges set up," and addressed whether Bilal had been slaughtered before his body wound up in the fenced-in area.
"We are as yet considering how he crossed the defensive fence which is very high and entered the lions' field," he stated, including the youngster had been absent for as far back as two days.
"I figure the police will likewise research whether the man himself climbed the fence and headed inside or somebody tossed his dead body inside for the lions to eat."
He said Bilal's family let him know and the police he had gone to the recreation centre to see one of his uncles who worked there.
