With fresh floods across the country expected there is a campaign to use foreign aid money instead to help the victims of the floods.

Suzanne Evans (former UKIP MEP) says foreign aid is spent on the wrong thing most of the time. We are quick to help other countries when they flood, so why not ourselves? But Dr Adam Elliott Cooper disagrees, arguing instead that there are lots of other areas of taxation which we should be diverting to helping flood victims
