On Sunday, China reported 573 new cases overnight, the highest daily increase this week.
That brings the number of confirmed patients in China to over 79-thousand-800.
35 more people died from COVID-19 as of Saturday, meaning a total of 2,870 people have died from the virus in the country.
The virus continues to spread rapidly outside of China.
Qatar and Luxembourg have each reported their first cases of the novel coronavirus.
Confirmed cases topped the 1,100-mark in Italy, with 29 dead.
COVID-19 has infected nearly 600 people in Iran, killing 43 people.
France has reported 100 cases and two deaths.
Australia and Thailand each reported their first case of death from the virus on Sunday.
The U.S., on Saturday.
The U.S decided to expand restrictions on foreign nationals who've visited Iran within the past two weeks.
"In addition to moving Iran, we are going to increase to the highest level of advisory, which is level 4, advising Americans do not travel to specific regions in Italy and South Korea."
The State Department tells U.S. citizens to not visit South Korea's Daegu city "due to the level of community transmission."
The rest of South Korea remains at level 3, "Reconsider Travel."
