Eskom is continuing its bid to recover money it's owed. The latest target Emfuleni Local Municipality which owes the power utility money to the tune of R615 million. Sherriff of the court has enforced a High Court judgment - removing and attaching property belonging to the municipality. Non-payment of services offered by Eskom also put massive pressure on the utility's ability to keep the lights on. Action against Emfuleni Municipality comes on the heels of Eskom's announcement it's implementing stage four load shedding from Tuesday Afternoon.
