Two American soldiers shot and killed in Afghanistan The Defense Department has identified two American soldiers killed in Afghanistan. Sergeant First Class Javier Jaguar Guiterrez of San Antonio, Texas, and Sergeant First Class Antonio Rey Rodriguez of Las Cruces, New Mexico, were killed in Nangarhar Province on Saturday. The two were shot when an Afghan dressed in an Army uniform opened fire with a machine gun, a U.S. official said.
