Tesco boss dies after going into cardiac arrest while on holiday in Lanzarote A British Tesco executive has died while stand-up paddle boarding in the sea off the holiday island of Lanzarote, it has been reported.  Ofer Deshe was pulled out of the ocean by surfers after getting into difficulties off spectacular Famara Beach.  Medical responders tried to revive him after confirming he had gone into cardiac arrest but their attempts to save Mr Deshe proved unsuccessful.  He was pronounced dead at the scene on Thursday just after 3.30pm.  The 50-year-old is Tesco’s head of experience design and research and the former CEO and managing director of London-based digital innovation consulting firm Tobias & Tobias.  A spokesman for a regional government-run emergency services coordination centre said: “The man who died was aged 50.
