Only with your phone, using TennisTension mobile app, just in 3 seconds check the momentous string tension, track the tension loss of any racquet and string model (hybrids included). A "Calibration" of the app is provided covering all specific characteristics of the string and the racquet to the utmost. Accuracy is mere 0.1_kg. Already used from many ATP and WTA players. The phone microphone records and analyzes the sound from the vibrating string and then calculates the average tension between main and cross strings. The known racquet and string parameters must be defined in the settings. When some of them are not known the app takes the average values. When a “Calibration” of the app is made, the missing parameters are not a problem for accurate measurements.
