In this video I talk about the most common mistakes that we make when designing our home and how to fix them. I share eight of the biggest mistakes. These mistakes are so common almost everyone is guilty of them. However, it will not take a lot of efforts or money to fix these them. Taking couples of hours in a weekend can fix them and your house will experience a dramatic transformation. These are three of the common mistakes. #1. You could be hanging your wall art too High. Wall art is best placed at eye level. Approximately 5-6 feet high. The reason is that must people height is between 5 and 6 feet.
#2. Not measuring your place before buying a piece of furniture. Use apps or draw a floor plan before heading to shop for furniture.
#3 buying wrong size rug. For a living room make sure the legs of your sofa are seating on the rug. In the case of a dining room make sure when you pull out the chairs they are still seating on the rug. And for bedroom focus on getting a rug that big enough that it will extend to the bottom 2/3 of the bed.
