Jason Zhu, 28, who runs his own nature education and insects exhibition company, said that this sub adult hooded mantis enlarged herself, believing he was going to attack her.

Although Jason hasn’t officially given the mantis a name yet, he has been calling her Yvonne.

“She got angry and displayed a threatening form to enlarge herself because she thought I was going to attack her," he said.
