Ambulance Driver who drove ailing infant from Mangaluru to Bengaluru in 4.5 hours The KMCC ambulance went fro, Mangaluru to Bengaluru, hoping to save a 40-day-old infant from Mangaluru, suffering from heart-related ailment, reached Bengaluru’s Jayadeva Hospital. The ambulance started from Mangaluru at 12.05 pm and reached Jayadeva hospital in Bengaluru in the evening at 4.35 pm.

Zero traffic was given in most areas thanks to the traffic cops and public who received the news through social medias. People seen making human chains for the smooth pass away to the ambulance.

Haneef Balanja, who drove the infant from Father Muller’s Hospital, Mangaluru on Thursday to Bengaluru on zero traffic, hails from Guruvayanakere in Beltangady taluk.

The driver who drove the infant to Bengaluru in record time was accorded grand welcome by people at hospital premises.

Speaking to reporters later, Haneef expressed his gratitude to people who gave way for his ambulance.
