Samsung unveils 'artificial humans' at CES 2020

Samsung has unveiled Neon, the world's first "artificial humans", at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Developed by Samsung-backed Star Labs, the virtual beings look and behave like humans. The creators said the human avatars have the ability to converse and sympathise like real people. Using advanced AI technology, they will be able to learn and form memories from their interactions. Analysts said if this is true, Samsung's creation could have major implications in fields like customer service and entertainment.
