At Thrive Agric, we are bound by the single principle; #FarmersFirst. Our work with Farmers has always made us ask one question; How can we innovate around the problems farmers are facing? Answering this question has led us to many solutions that has made life better for our farmers. Smallholder farmers are the major producers of food in Nigeria but they struggle with 3 major challenges amongst others; Access to finance in the form of quality inputs for their operations to scale their production, access to premium markets to sell their produce and even capture more value for themselves, and access to data driven advisory to help them adopt new methods that drive efficiency and increased yield from the farms. We are currently innovating along these lines but we love to tell ourselves; as long as it is a problem for the farmer, it is our problem.
Solving the problems for African Farmers has put a lot of smiles on faces and families, improved their lives significantly, and is everyday ensuring food security not just for the country, but for Africa and the world and this is indeed our story; creating opportunity where there seemingly isn't. Like we love to say; One Farmer at a time, we are creating an Africa that feeds itself and the world.
