When I studied art in college, I loved layering the paint onto the canvas and really manipulating the texture of the materials. These Valentine's Day hearts took under an hour and were such an easy way to bring in a little gallery wall of love just in time for Valentine's Day. I probably won't keep this gallery wall up past Valentine's Day, but I will definitely move some of the smaller painted canvases to bookshelves around the house for a bit of color and love.
