Fairfield, CA - A suspect was arrested after setting fire to his own residence. The man was reported by witnesses at approximately 10:25 PM along the 500 block of Carpenter Street. The man was taken into custody at gunpoint. Police saw flames coming from the front of the residence. The fire department arrived and started extinguishing it. The man has set fire to his home in the past before and think he was possibly off his bipolar medication. No one was injured in this incident.
