भविष्य में गायब होने वाले 13 Body Parts | 13 Body Parts That Will Disappear In The Future The laws of nature see all living beings adapt with the times. This holds true for human beings as well. There are many body parts that were useful to our primitive ancestors but hold no purpose today. Here are 13 body parts that scientists say will disappear in the near future.

First are the wisdom teeth. These teeth were once used to crush big morsels of food. Now with the use of forks and knives to cut up foot into bite-sized pieces, these teeth have lost their purpose. Next are the male nipples which have no possible function in the human body. They exist by default from birth and will soon go extinct. Next is body hair. In the modern world, we have access to clothing suited to protecting our skin in each weather. This pretty much nullifies the purpose of having body hair.

Also on the list is the appendix. In the past, this tube-like structure aided in digestion but at present, it has no real function in the human body. Many living organisms have a third eyelid which is called a nictitating membrane. Yet, this membrane has lost its purpose due to advanced eye care facilities that are available. Some people are born with an extra rib or pair of ribs below the neck. These ribs are called cervical ribs. They are soon set to become redundant as they serve no real function.

The Darwin’s tubercle is cartilage and skin that protrude towards the top half of the ear. In the past, it helped in picking out sound. Now, this tubercle is useless and will soon be disappear from the human body. Next are the arrector pili muscles. In primitive times, these muscles helped make hair stand up thus leading a creature to appear intimidating to its enemies. Also on this list is the tailbone which marks the end point of the spine. As humans no longer have tails like their ancestors, this part of the body too will soon disappear.
Another body part that will go extinct is the subclavius muscle which is situated between the collarbone and the start of the first rib. It worked, in the past, to stabilize the body of a creature that walked on all fours. The palmaris longus is a forearm muscle that helped the primitive man grab a firm hold while climbing rocks. As we no longer live a nomadic existence, this muscle has been rendered useless. The outer ear muscles helped humans of the past twitch their ears to pick up sounds just like dogs and cats do. Over the years, these muscles have lost their efficacy and will soon drop away from the human anatomy.

Finally, humans of the future may not have toes. New research has revealed that the center of balance of the foot mainly rests on the side of the big toe and the ball of the foot. This might cause toes to become an extra part of anatomy that is not required. These changes – if they happen – will definitely take several thousand years.
