NHRC Takes Suo Moto Cognizance In Hyderabad Encounter | Mathrubhumi News

Hyderabad: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has decided to take suo moto cognisance in the Hyderabad encounter in which four men suspected of raping and murdering a young veterinarian were killed by the police. The commission has reached Hyderabad to conduct a spot inquiry at the site of the encounter. Petitions were also filed in the Supreme Court seeking action against the cops involved in the encounter.
