Today I’ll be talking about the data harvesting that happens to all of our purchases, and why cash and crypto are essential. However, Snowden says that the lack of privacy in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is an existential threat. And Bitcoin core developer Gregory Maxwell, said:
“Bitcoin is often promoted as a tool for privacy, but the only privacy that exists in Bitcoin comes from pseudonymous addresses which are fragile and easily compromised.”
CoinJoin is a tool that can help. I'll show you how to use CoinJoin in Wasabi wallet to make your Bitcoin transactions more private. CoinJoin can also be used with currencies other than bitcoin, so I'll show you how to use CashShuffle, the BCH implementation of CoinJoin in Electron Cash wallet.
