Indian-American Abhijit Banerjee Among 3 to Win Nobel: Who is He? | The Quint

Indian-American economist Abhijit Banerjee was one among the three people who jointly won the 2019 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences on Monday, 14 October. Mumbai-born Banerjee was awarded the prize along with wife Esther Duflo and Michael Kremer “for their experimental approach to alleviating global poverty.”
